Hotel Skansen - Farjestaden

Having a private balcony and air conditioning in the room is a huge plus 🌬️. Not to mention, the bed was super comfortable too.

Location was fabulous!

Booked.net description lists hotel as being air conditioned, most rooms are not. Child under two stays free when using existing bedding is not correct. We were charged for our 2 year old's breakfasts even though they were included in our rate.

Location: the hotel was right by the beach and harbor area as well as Oland. We stayed in an outstanding and clean room with balcony, and enjoyed it...

The staff here is very friendly and helpful, providing useful information, and the breakfasts are good with excellent service; also, taking advantage of the complimentary wake-up service and ironing is a nice bonus.

Hotel very clean and staff willing and eager to help. Location wonderful to explore island. Near bridge so can easily drive off the island when leaving. Food very good and wait staff very nice.

The rooms are modern and clean with a balcony, a welcoming atmosphere, and a complimentary minibar; the location is conveniently close to the harbor, the lake, the Oeland bridge.

Requested a deluxe king room and it was fantastic , super clean with a balcony for some fresh air 🌿. I really liked having the wake, up service available here , such a nice touch!

Skansen in Farjestaden is a great place to stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very helpful. The location is close to the ocean - which is a bonus. And the best part was how they provided special amenities for our dog - including a food bowl - water bowl, and a comfy blanket. Highly recommended!

The location was great and we loved the atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and accommodating. The outdoor seating area was a nice touch.

We had a great stay at this place! The location is fantastic, right across the sea with beautiful views. The staff was really friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The room was spacious and clean, with all the amenities we could ask for. We enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi and the terrace where we had breakfast. The hotel also offers a variety of activities like massages and live entertainment, which added to our overall experience.

Families will definitely love this venue.

the highlights included indulging in sparkling wine in the outdoor and indoor Jacuzzis, enjoying a delicious breakfast on the terrace, and being impressed by the size of our room. the staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. We also had fantastic massages and were delighted with the variety of wonderful restaurants in the area. Plus, the fact that parking was free on the property was a great bonus. And we can't forget to mention the best cookies available in the lobby throughout the day! This is definitely a family-friendly hotel, but the staff made sure that the kids didn't disturb us in the spa. it was a fantastic experience. Cons: Nothing bad to say. 😊.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was a fantastic experience. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of options to choose from. The spa facilities were top-notch and provided the perfect relaxation we needed during our stay. The location of the hotel was ideal for us to explore the local area and enjoy scenic walks. Not to mention the rooms were spacious and had a cozy feel.

The slow service in the restaurant. It took quite some time to receive our food and drinks, which was a little frustrating. Additionally, the price of the food was a bit high for the quality and presentation that were delivered. Despite this, the overall atmosphere of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff more than made up for it.

I had a blast trying to book a time for the spa and committing to a breakfast reservation! The food was average, but hey, at least it was cold when it arrived! The staff seemed tired and understaffed, making it even more fun to order a drink and pay the bill.

The kitchen didn't quite meet my high expectations. What a shame!
